Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Nouakchott
– Airport pickup and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2: Nouakchott Exploration
– Visit the central market, camel market, fish market.
– Sunset walk on the Atlantic beach.

Day 3: Journey to Azouega via Akjoujt
– Drive through dramatic desert landscapes.
– Camp under the stars in Azouega.

Day 4: Desert Villages & Oasis of Terjit
– Visit Tivoujt and Toungad villages.
– Relax in the palm-shaded oasis of Terjit. Overnight in Camp Jemal.

Day 5: Mhairith & Ancient Chinguetti
– Visit the date palm oasis of Mhairith.
– Discover Chinguetti’s historic mosque, libraries, and sand dunes.

Day 6: Drive to Ouadane
– Explore the UNESCO site of Ouadane and its ancient ruins.
– Overnight in a traditional guesthouse.

Day 7: The Eye of the Sahara (Richat Structure)
– Adventure into the desert to witness the geological wonder.
– Return to Atar for rest.

Day 8: Ben Amera & Etmeymichat
– Visit Africa’s largest monolith, Ben Amera.
– Possible view of the Iron Ore Train.
– Overnight in a local guesthouse.

Day 9: Drive to Nouadhibou
– Scenic drive to the coast.
– Explore Cap Blanc, shipwrecks, and coastal views. Overnight in apartment.

Day 10: Iwik – Banc d’Arguin National Park
– Visit the fishing village of Iwik.
– Overnight in a traditional camp near the ocean.

Day 11: Wildlife Exploration in Banc d’Arguin
– Observe migratory birds and untouched coastal nature.

Day 12: El Mamghar Desert Camp
– Cross the desert dunes to El Mamghar.
– Stargazing and peaceful night in the wilderness.

Day 13: Return to Nouakchott
– Free afternoon for shopping, beach time, or markets.

Day 14: Departure
– Transfer to airport for departure.
